Curves of Iran

Curves are everywhere in Eastern culture: our writing, our architecture, our instruments, the way we dance ; even the tone of our language is curved. The West was built on angles. The East was built on curves.

Stanislas Giroux took a 3 weeks trip in the Middle East, with his video bag, filled with a few extra shirts. He had one thought in mind: make people want to travel. In his words: “Go to Iran”.

Former doctor, backpacking enthusiastic, and photography lover for more than ten years, Stanislas quickly stands out with its own visual poetry style, recognizable by its surgical edits that spread around the internet since a few years. With more than 700,000 unique views, his last projects have notably been praised by National Geographic, Canal+, and BBC Travel Show.
